Recently I had a client who believed he’d been “cursed” by the negative vibes of people in his life. A series of accidents, of things going wrong, and he’s had enough.

It’s called the evil eye in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cultures. You have to wear a blue pearl, put up anti-evil eye ornaments in your home, or in Greek-style, pretend to spit to ward it off.

Doesn’t it sound ridiculous? Yet most people believe that they can be affected by negative vibes somehow. And that’s what makes it true! Your belief in it makes it a reality.

You’ve accepted this notion into your consciousness, and it’s even ingrained in your genetic makeup thanks to countless generations of superstitious and false belief.

The good news is this can all be undone. The first step is to refuse to believe in such notions anymore. To flat-out reject them from your mind and declare that you no longer believe in them. Of course, there’s the subconscious to deal with too…

Here’s the mantra or affirmation I gave this client, to be repeated every movement he finds himself fearing or believing in the evil eye:

NOTHING AND NO ONE OUTSIDE OF MY SELF CAN HAVE POWER OVER ME
